Multi-Vendor Presales Solution Architect

Description

We are seeking a seasoned Multi-Vendor Presales Solution Architect to lead the technical solution design for our Enterprise clients across India. This role requires an individual to serve as a trusted advisor, bridging client business needs with cutting-edge network and security architectures.

You will drive sales success by designing, validating, and presenting complex solutions encompassing core switching, routing, wireless, and network security (firewalls) from multiple leading vendors.

  • Preferred Location: Bangalore/Mumbai/Delhi candidates only
  • Preferred Experience: 5+ Years in Network Engineering and 3+ years in a dedicated Presales or Solution Architecture role
  • Preferred Certifications: CCNA (Mandatory)
  • Professional Certifications: One or more of the following Professional certifications is Mandatory:
    • CCNP Enterprise / CCNP Security (Cisco)
    • JNCIP-ENT / JNCIP-SEC (Juniper)
    • ACCP / ACDP / ACSA (HPE Aruba)
    • FCP / FCSS (Fortinet)

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Architecture

  • Translate Requirements: Capture complex customer business and technical requirements from discovery sessions and RFPs/RFIs, translating them into robust High-Level Design (HLD) documents.
  • Multi-Vendor Design: Architect and design resilient, scalable, and secure network infrastructure solutions utilizing product lines from multiple technology partners, including:
    • Routing & Switching: Cisco (Catalyst/Nexus), Juniper (Junos), HPE Aruba.
    • Network Security: Fortinet (FortiGate), Cisco (ASA/Firepower), Juniper.
    • Wireless/Mobility: HPE Aruba (Controllers/AOS), Cisco Wireless.
  • BOM & Sizing: Develop accurate, competitive, and high-quality Bill of Materials (BOMs), detailed solution sizing, and service scopes for professional services (SOWs).

Technical Pre-Sales & Enablement

  • Technical Presentation: Create and deliver compelling, high-impact technical presentations and whiteboarding sessions to both C-level executives and client technical teams.
  • Proof of Concept (PoC): Plan, lead, and execute successful Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements, documenting results and managing customer expectations to ensure technical closure.
  • RFP/RFI Response: Own the complete technical component of proposal writing, ensuring full technical compliance and crafting persuasive value propositions.
  • Competitive Analysis: Maintain in-depth knowledge of competitor solutions and roadmaps to effectively differentiate and position our multi-vendor offerings.

Business & Technical Leadership

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing knowledge transfer and mentorship to both the Sales and Junior Engineering teams on new vendor technologies and solution best practices.
  • Proactively maintain required certifications and stay abreast of the latest industry trends (e.g., SD-WAN, SASE, Zero Trust). 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Core Technical Skills: Deep expertise in two or more vendor platforms across LAN/WAN, Routing (BGP, OSPF), Switching (L2/L3), and Next-Gen Firewalls.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills (English)
    • Proven ability to consult and influence at senior customer levels
